Patty Brahe is the author of Easy Invitations (Rockport, 2005) and Easy Scrapbooking, (Rockport, 2006). Patty started her career as a magazine writer, but fell in love with stationery while combing the market for great school supplies for Seventeen magazine. Eventually, this lead her to become director of communications for Mountaincow, the market leader for affordable custom printing software.

Patty comes from a family that lives for celebrating birthdays and thinks every party needs a program, be it a song, slideshow or skit. It was a natural fit for her to start making invitations and accoutrements for all her friends’ and family’s special events.
